The devastation happens in Australia is really shocking to see. But amidst the bad, there are some good things happening too. Some people have proven that new life will always persevere.

A huge swath of land on Australia’s New South Wales Central Coast was destroyed by an out-of-control blaze in September 2019. But now, the “Sunshine Coast” is moving into recovery after a few weeks of the destruction. Many people eagerly documenting their inspiring rebirth.
Photographer Murray Lowe wrote, “Ventured out into the fire grounds today to capture some images of how the Aussie bush responds to fire and the way it regenerates itself and comes back to life. Even without any rain, life bursts through the burnt bark from the heart of the trees, and the life cycle begins again.”

Millions of plants and animals lived in this bush and they will make a spectacular comeback even though the fires destroyed them heavily.

We can count on wildlife to be resilient. These moving images have encouraged many individuals around the world and that will help us remember that this stunning recovery is typical for Australia.
