A Father’s Day tribute from Meghan Markle to Prince Harry has raised fresh concerns regarding their children, as fans have spotted a troubling detail.

In her touching message, the Duchess of Sussex called her husband their ‘one and only,’ accompanied by a photo of Harry embracing their seven-year-old son Archie and five-year-old daughter Lilibet, both facing away from the camera.

“They’re so fortunate to have you. We all are. Happy Father’s Day to our one and only,” Meghan expressed.

Despite the affectionate tone of the post, some individuals seized the chance to criticize the former senior royals, this time voicing worries about their children.

‘Disgusting’ photo ignites outrage

This isn’t the first instance where a picture of the children has stirred controversy online.

Earlier this year, Meghan faced backlash over a ‘disgusting’ photo shared on Instagram to celebrate Archie’s seventh birthday in May.

She posted two images, one showing Archie as a newborn sleeping on Harry’s chest and another of him playing on the beach with his sister.

“7 years later… happy birthday to our sweet boy,” she captioned the post, adding a heart emoji.

While the post garnered hundreds of thousands of likes, it also attracted a wave of criticism from social media users.

One critic remarked: “The images consistently convey one glaring narrative: isolation. Isolation from family, isolation from the public.”

Another commenter stated: “It’s all so strange!”

Meanwhile, some suggested that the photos of Archie and Lilibet appear to be ‘either AI or photoshopped’.

Meghan defends her choice to conceal her children’s faces

Many have observed that Meghan consistently opts to cover her children’s faces in the photos she shares – a trend that many public figures are now following for reasons of safety and privacy.

However, despite numerous advocates in the online safety community urging parents to refrain from displaying their children’s faces online, Harry and Meghan have faced criticism for their approach.

“As always, they remain faceless phantoms,” one critic remarked.

Meghan has addressed this issue previously, recently sharing with attendees at an event that their children ‘are still too young for social media.’

“Like many parents, we are constantly considering how to take advantage of technology’s benefits while protecting against its risks,” she continued.

Father’s Day post raises eyebrows

Unfortunately, Meghan’s latest post featuring Archie and Lilibet is no exception, as many social media users are voicing similar concerns.

Numerous individuals pointed out that in several pictures of the children, they seem to be without shoes, with one user labeling the appearance as ‘shabby’.

“Once again, we see a photo of these kids looking shabby. This time, the boy has dirty bare feet. They always seem unkempt,” remarked one commenter.

Naturally, any parent can attest that dirty feet are a common occurrence when kids are busy playing and enjoying themselves.

Another user questioned: “Why does the girl only wear shoes indoors and not outside?” to which someone replied: “Exactly, sandals inside but barefoot outside. It doesn’t make sense!”

Meanwhile, a fourth user noted: “The girl has shoes this time, along with a strategically placed toy on her back to prevent comments about her hair.”

However, others clarified that the item on Lilibet’s back was actually a backpack with a leash, a common safety accessory for young children.

“That’s not a toy. It resembles one of those backpacks with a leash. We had one for my grandson. He was quite the runner, and we used it to show our horses,” one person shared.

Another chimed in: “I came here to point out it’s a leash. My child is on the autism spectrum, so I’m very familiar with them. We have a few.”
