Michael Jackson’s tragic final words before lethal overdose were revealed by doctor
It’s hard to grasp that it’s been 15 years since the death of arguably the greatest entertainer to have ever lived.
Michael Jackson’s life was full of great successes and tough times. He experienced amazing highs and faced a lot of rumors and challenges that made people have very different opinions about him.
It’s hard to argue that he wasn’t an amazing trailblazer in music. His talent and impact are so great that he stands shoulder to shoulder with legends like Elvis Presley and The Beatles, making him one of the greatest musical icons of all time.
On June 25, 2009 the entertainment industry – and indeed the world in general – were left reeling at the news of MJ’s sudden passing.
The famous pop star was getting ready for a big 50-show series in the UK when he sadly passed away at his house in Los Angeles. Dr. Conrad Murray, who was Jackson’s personal doctor, reported that the singer had stopped breathing and seemed to have suffered a heart attack. This happened just minutes after Murray had given him a strong dose of propofol and benzodiazepine to help him sleep.
Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Jackson’s life could not be saved. He was declared dead two hours after Murray’s 911 call.

After Jackson’s death, fans all over the world felt a lot of sadness and pain. Because of an investigation and autopsy, Dr. Murray was accused of involuntary manslaughter.
At trial, Murray’s defense claimed that on the night of his death, the 50-year-old Jackson had taken eight tablets of the sedative lorazepam, though this was not administered by Murray.
Dr. Murray walked out of the room, and Jackson took some propofol by himself. The combination of that and lorazepam made a dangerous mix in his body that ended up causing his death, according to his defense team.
“The whole thing is tragic, but the evidence is not that Dr. Murray did it.”

After the prosecution ruled that “misplaced trust in the hands of Murray cost Jackson his life,” Murray was sentenced to four years in prison.
Fifteen years later, Jackson’s last heartbreaking words have come to light again, thanks to Dr. Murray.
During his trial for manslaughter, Murray claimed that Jackson had requested ‘milk’, the word the singer used for the anaesthetic propofol.
Murray mentioned to the jury in his trial, according to the LA Times, that Jackson pleaded, “Please, please, give him some milk so I can sleep, because I know that’s the only thing that really helps me.”
“This is just a medicine that he was familiar with, it’s called propofol.
“He said ‘Just make me sleep, doesn’t matter what time I get up.
“I agreed at that time that I would switch over to the propofol.”
Dr. Murray mentioned that he gave Jackson the medication and then stepped away for two minutes to go to the bathroom. When he came back, he found that Jackson was no longer breathing.
