Mama cat places her dying kitten in man’s hands, receives a response she will never forget

All pets really deserve a caring home.

Sadly, that isn’t always true for our cherished furry companions who make our lives happier. Luckily, there are amazing people who spend their time and effort to help these animals in need.

We can’t say enough about how much we admire these animal advocates – they are real heroes, even if they don’t wear capes.

In this case, let’s take a closer look at how it all unfolded when the animal heroes from the Teddy Kitten Rescue Center took on a very special case.

They often give food to the stray cats that wander around the streets. One day, though, they noticed a cat they had never seen before. She was coming toward them, carrying a kitten in her mouth. Carefully, she set her tiny baby down on the ground and let one of the people who loved animals pet her.

They both got some food.

At first, it looked like the cat mom, who nobody in the neighborhood recognized, felt safe with these people.

A little while later, she came back with another kitten.

“Today, right after we fed the cat, she started bringing her kittens over to us. Maybe she felt we could be trusted, or maybe she just needed a safe spot for her babies. First, she brought one kitten, and then another. The cat seemed really worried about keeping her kittens safe and healthy,” says the Teddy Kitten Rescue Center on YouTube, where they also shared a video of the whole event.

The video has more than eleven million views, and it’s easy to see why so many people are watching it.

But the mother didn’t just want help with two kittens. There was actually another kitten nearby, hiding in a bush. They found the kitten and took it back to join the rest of the family.

The cat mom did something amazing next. She walked away from the group again and came back with a fourth kitten (!).

But this little one was not doing well. The organization said it was unconscious.

The cat seemed to be saying, “Please help my kittens!” with the way she moved her head, they explained.

And help is exactly what they got.

Before long, they reached the cat shelter, where the kittens got food and a safe place to stay. The little kitten that was unconscious began to recover quickly.

You can check out the video below to see how the cats are doing now at the shelter; they are all doing much better!
