l beautyJacqueline Bisset, 80, continues to wow audiences with her natural beautyl beauty
Jacqueline Bisset is magnificent – in so many ways.
Jacqueline Bisset, at 80 years old, has had an amazing career that lasts 58 years and includes around 50 films. She still seems full of energy and isn’t slowing down at all.
Since I was a little girl, Jacqueline has been one of my role models because my parents adored her. To me, she truly embodies the classic glamour that Hollywood used to have.
I really respect how she embraces aging naturally. I’ve always thought she has a beautiful and natural look, and she doesn’t pile on the makeup.

Over her impressive career, the brown-haired star, famous for her high cheekbones and amazing green eyes, has shown she can play many different roles. She took on the part of the alluring Miss Goodthighs in the spy comedy Casino Royale (1967), a caring mother in Sleepy Time Gal (2001), First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in America’s Prince: The John F. Kennedy Jr. Story (2003), and Anna Karenina (1985) in the romantic tale of the same name, where she acted alongside Christopher Reeve.
Bisset made her acting debut in Roman Polanski’s Cul-de-Sac (1966) and became well-known in 1968 when she appeared in three films in one year: Detective with singer Frank Sinatra, Bullitt with Steve McQueen, and her Golden Globe-nominated role in The Sweet Ride with Tony Franciosa and Bob Denver, who is best known as Gilligan from Gilligan’s Island.

You might know her from her roles in movies like Day for Night (1973), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Deep (1977), Wild Orchid (1990), and her nominated performances in Joan of Arc (1999) and Dancing on the Edge (2013), where she even won a Golden Globe. She also appeared in Miss You Already (2015) and Birds of Paradise (2021).
In 2010, this talented actress, who can speak English, French, and Italian, received the Legion of Honor, which is a big deal in France. Then in 2023, she was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Sedona International Film Festival.
Even though she has worked with some of the biggest stars in Hollywood, Bisset has never tied the knot. She caught the eye of famous people like Frank Sinatra, and there were rumors about her dating Steve McQueen, her co-star from Bullitt. But Bisset, being a classy English lady, thought they were just too different.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, she talked about McQueen, saying, “He was good-looking, but a bit intimidating. I was very British, and he was a cool American. The way he spoke would have driven me crazy—I had no idea what a dude or a soul chick was!”
She has been in long-term relationships with Canadian actor Michael Sarrazin, ballet dancer Alexander Godunov, and actor Vincent Pérez, but she admits that she values her independence too much for anything serious.
In another interview with the Independent, Bisset mentioned, “I’ve had some really interesting guys in my life. They can be quite a handful. I don’t pick easy partners, or so I’ve been told.” She added, “Sometimes you learn too much when you’re with someone. You start noticing their bad habits. You discover these things, and then you have to deal with those habits, which can be tough for me. I don’t have bad breakups. I’ve never left angry; I just move on from situations that feel too much to handle.”
Bisset, who is Angelina Jolie’s godmother, isn’t known for having wild relationships, but she made headlines when she won a Golden Globe for her role as Lady Cremone in the BBC show Dancing on the Edge.
During her acceptance speech, the music started playing to hurry her off the stage, but she mostly just expressed her heartfelt thanks. At 69 years old, she had been waiting 47 years for this moment since her first nomination for best newcomer.
After that, she took on the role of a bold femme fatale in the French thriller The Lodger (2020), and more recently, she starred in the film Loren & Rose (2022). In this movie, Bisset plays Rose, a famous actress trying to revive her career, but she has a reputation for being a bit quirky and unreliable.

According to Russell Brown, the director of the film, the character Rose is very different from the actress Jacqueline Bisset in real life. Brown explained, “People often think Jacqueline is just like her character in the movie, but that’s not true at all. As an actress and a person, she’s quite different from Rose, and it really shows how talented she is that she can change so much for the role.”
Bisset is known for her classic beauty and how she gracefully accepts aging. In her famous speech at the Golden Globes, she mentioned, “I believe, if you want to look good, you’ve got to forgive everybody. It’s the best beauty treatment.”
She also shared that even though she had many insecurities when she was younger, she never considered getting plastic surgery. “I don’t think it makes you look younger. It makes you different,” Bisset stated.

Such an amazingly honest, beautiful, generous woman and actor/artist, a shining light in the world of celebrity!
Jacqueline really comes across as super relatable! She’s such a classy lady and definitely one of my favorite actresses ever.
Think about your favorite moments of Jacqueline Bisset and her amazing 55-year journey as one of the best actors in Hollywood.
