Agnes Herczeg, a Hungarian artist attaches her intricate lace art with knotty wooden pieces of wood. These crafted figures are a significant creation of our connection with nature and the juxtaposition of the looseness of the lace while the solidity of the wood is what holds everything together.

The Hungarian University of Fine Arts was where Herczeg studied textile conservation. She then tried several methods of embroidery and lace-making that empowers her to push the boundaries of those crafts she makes.
