“1883” stars Time McGraw and Faith Hill are a beautiful couple, but as in all families, they have encountered tragedies and challenges.

In 2022, they announced that their daughter Gracie, who is 25 years old, had been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).

At that time, they got a lot of love and support from everyone, and recently, Gracie has been sharing updates about how she’s doing on social media.

I wanted to let you know that I recently found out I have PCOS, or polycystic ovarian syndrome. To be diagnosed, you need to exhibit at least 2 out of 5 specific symptoms, and I have 3 of them.

Gracie shared in her post, “While seeing the endocrinologist, I came to understand that this might be contributing to my weight problems. Therefore, we opted to start a medication that would enhance my body’s function and give me the necessary support to maintain my health as I age.”

Gracie candidly shared her experience, stating, “I’m learning to manage the new spots on my skin, but I doubt I would have attended a doctor’s appointment like this without first addressing my mental health. While physical health is vital, mental health is equally important.”

The young McGraw has been applauded by fans online who appreciate her transparency about her condition.

John Hopkins Medicine says that PCOS is a really common hormone issue that affects many women who can have kids.

Women experiencing this condition might not ovulate and often have elevated androgen levels. Additionally, some may develop small cysts on their ovaries. PCOS can lead to irregular menstrual cycles, increased hair growth, acne, infertility, and weight gain.

”Sending love to those who are struggling with something similar or literally anything at all. Mental health is freaking hard !! It’s a long road but we can get through it,” the star added.

I share my story in the hope that it resonates with someone else. P.S. The medication I’m on has transformed my body in ways I haven’t experienced in years (possibly never?). It’s a strange adjustment, but I’m discovering ways to embrace it.

Fans rushed to comment and react to the young woman’s honesty, thanking her and calling things such as “brave” and “beautiful”.

Unfortunately, Gracie has had to endure a lot regarding her body. In 2021 she was mocked for her shape and responded to a body shamer by embracing herself while showing off some dance moves!

Today, I glanced in the mirror and felt good about myself. I decided to visit a store and grabbed the largest dress size they had, which was an 8 (by the way, I usually wear a 10). The sales associate actually snatched the dress from me and said, “That’s not going to fit you.” I mean, obviously I know it’s not my size, but her taking the dress away and telling me I was too big for it really hurt my feelings, she shared on Instagram.

“What upset me wasn’t just her implying that I’m too big; it really frustrated me that so many stores do this. They only display smaller sizes, and when I try on the larger ones, they barely fit past my knees,” she explained. “I’ve been a size 30 in jeans for two or three years, yet every time I try a new brand or even the same one I used to wear, the size 30 feels smaller, even though my body hasn’t changed. It’s not limited to pants; it’s the same issue with everything.”

Gracie definitely has her entire family cheering her on, and that includes Tim McGraw. Back in 2020, Tim talked about his daughter and expressed just how proud he is of her.

“Gracie, our oldest daughter, is an actress in L.A., and she makes me proud every day because she’s such a strong, independent young lady who speaks her mind.”

It’s clear that Gracie has not let her condition affect her genuinity. Let us know what you think about her bravery and transparency in the comments!
