Disney’s Gaston Actor Breaks Character After Woman Inappropriately Touches Him

A popular video went viral where the actor who plays Gaston in Disney suddenly stopped acting when a woman touched him in a way that was not okay.
The video has received millions of views and sparked a heated discussion about personal space and respect in public areas.
TikToker Evan Snead posted the video online with the caption: “This really gets me fired up!”
In the video, he adds: “Please do not be that person.”
After viewing it, people have shared their thoughts in the comments.

One person comments: “How about we don’t touch ANYONE without permission?”
Someone else said, “That’s great for him! If this happened to a woman, everyone would be really upset and grossed out. Gaston totally had the right to tell her to go!”
“Nobody yells as loud as Gaston, nobody throws punches like Gaston, and no one kicks out girls who don’t belong like Gaston!” a third person jokes.
Somebody else says: “She should not have touched him and I loved how he defended himself and said that there are children there and children should not be seeing that.”
A fifth person says, “It’s important for everyone to have their personal space honored.”
However, others believe the actor ‘overreacted’ to the situation.

One viewer wrote that he really shouldn’t have yelled so loudly since he said it was a family-friendly place. They thought it was kind of strange for the character to scream like that.
Another person chimes in, saying, “I think he went a bit too far. You can teach someone the right way without making them feel bad.”
The video appeared on Reddit, and as reported by Indy100, it was first uploaded to YouTube back in 2015.
The video features a woman whose name we don’t know, and she is talking to the actor who plays Gaston from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, which came out in 1991.
She tries to reach out and touch the Disney actor’s chest, which makes him really angry. He steps back to keep from getting too close and tells her to go away.

He commands: “Get out. Now. Leave!”
The woman looks a bit confused about whether he’s joking or not, so she reaches out to him again. The actor tells her to stop and asks her to go away again. He points out that there are kids around.
In a chat with The Independent, Snead, a person who often creates videos about Disney and its parks, said, “I really hope this helps people understand the importance of respecting others and teaches those who might not know the right way to behave when meeting Disney characters.”
Even though the video caused a lot of debate, it’s not certain if the woman, who isn’t named, actually did anything wrong.
The Disney Food Blog reminds us that characters are just like real people, so we should be polite with how we act and what we say around them.
It also says, “Just like with anyone else, make sure to be respectful and keep your conversations suitable.”
