If you’re similar to me, you’ve likely watched Dirty Dancing countless times, to the point where you can recite nearly every line. Yet, every now and then, we stumble upon something new, and that’s exactly what happened recently.
We discovered a deleted scene that, while not lengthy, is truly exciting to watch since it’s something we’ve never seen before. In this clip, Johnny is shown teaching Baby a dance routine for their big performance.
Some individuals assert that they recall a particular scene featuring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, but it turns out that this scene was never included in the final film. The video description clarifies that various scenes were removed during production due to constraints like time and budget.
This clip is truly touching, as it captures Patrick and Jennifer during their practice sessions. The footage was recorded without their knowledge at the time.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that Patrick Swayze had been dancing since he was a child. He grew up in Houston, where his mother operated a dance studio, immersing him in the world of dance throughout his upbringing.
Moreover, there were several other scenes featuring Patrick and Jennifer that didn’t make it into the movie. A particularly famous one involves Johnny dancing with Baby while she’s in her underwear. Although it was excluded from the theatrical release, it can be found among the deleted scenes on the special edition DVD.
Ultimately, it doesn’t really matter if it’s a steamy scene or simply something new to us; it enhances our enjoyment of the film even more.
