Diana had spent all her savings on buying her son’s suit for the wedding, and she couldn’t wait to see his reaction when she surprised him at home.

Upon spotting his destitute mother at his wedding, Arnold is overcome with anger as he had explicitly instructed her not to attend. However, when she presents him with a gift and offers a heartfelt toast, Arnold is moved to tears and collapses to his knees in the following moment.
“Hey, check it out, someone’s leaving the café all smiles. Look at that blush!” Diana’s manager exclaimed as laughter echoed through the eatery’s kitchen.
Miss Diana was surrounded by colleagues, causing her to blush, as one of them asked about the wedding time.

The event is happening at 11 a.m. this Sunday. I can’t wait to see everyone at the church!
The lady who was 60 years old worked as a cleaner at the café. She decided to take a break for half a day so she could find the perfect wedding suit for her son, Arnold. Diana spent a lot of time looking for the right blue suit. It was quite pricey, but she didn’t mind. “My son deserves to look his best!” she said to herself.
Diana used up all her money to purchase her son’s suit, and she was so excited to see how he would react when she showed it to him at home.
Diana was so excited to watch him tie the knot! She had been eagerly anticipating this day ever since Arnold shared his intentions to marry his girlfriend, Masha.
“Hey, check out what I brought for you!” Diana came into the house with a suit and a big smile. “I think you’re going to really like it! Can you try it on for me? The person who sold it to me said I can exchange it if it doesn’t fit right.”
Arnold went off to chuck his mom’s gift he thought was ‘junk,’ but he got cut off by her talking on the mic.
She pulled the suit out of the bag and displayed it to Arnold, who made a face. He didn’t look happy.
I don’t want to wear a regular suit for my wedding. I’m marrying a girl whose dad has a lot of money, so I need to look really good. That cheap suit would make me look bad.
Diana’s eyes began to well up with tears. She tried to act like everything was fine, but her son’s words made her go quiet. She felt let down and her heart felt really heavy.
It was really sad when Arnold said to her, “Oh, and one more thing… I don’t want you to come to my wedding. My fiancée’s rich family will be there, and I don’t want you in your dirty clothes ruining my reputation. People will ask me about you, and I don’t want to say you’re just a cleaner.”
Diana couldn’t stop crying. She quickly went to her room and shut the door. She cried all day because she was really upset. Arnold was too busy getting ready for the wedding to see how she was doing. The big party was just two days away.
It was Sunday, and Arnold was so excited for his special day. Even though her son said she couldn’t come, Diana couldn’t miss it. She got herself ready and chose her nicest dress from her closet. Then she got all set to go.

“You don’t get how much I want to be there for you on your special day, my dear. I’ll make sure to be there,” she whispered to herself while looking at her reflection in the mirror.
Diana put an ancient ceramic vase in her bag to give to her son. When she got to the church, she noticed her coworkers and boss were already there. She felt joyful and briefly forgot that Arnold had told her not to come to his wedding.
Hi, Miss Diana! I bet you’re the most joyful mom ever!” her boss remarked.
Diana smiled as she walked in with the heavy gift box. She observed the bride and groom exchanging wedding rings and then kissing. Despite her efforts, Diana couldn’t hold back her tears. She was overjoyed. “I did it!” she exclaimed.
After the wedding, there was a fancy party. Lots of rich people came to say hi to the new married couple. Arnold was surprised when he saw his mom coming over. He looked really mad. “Why did she come? I told her not to ruin my special day!” he thought.
Wow, you guys look awesome! Best wishes to both of you! Diana said as she gave the present to her son.
Arnold glanced around and noticed that someone was taking a picture. He didn’t want to cause a fuss, so he quietly accepted the present from his mom. He carefully opened the box and found a vase inside. “She gave me some old vase from the house? How lame?!” he grumbled.
Arnold left to toss his mom’s present he believed was ‘trash,’ but he got stopped by her speaking on the microphone. Arnold went white with surprise. He didn’t know that a secret she’d been hiding for twenty-five years would come out that day.
“Twenty-five years ago, just minutes before my best friend died….” began Diana, who quickly looked up at the ceiling as tears started to gather in her eyes.
“She gave me an old vase and told me to give it to her son the day he gets married. It was a gift from her late parents, and she wanted her son to have it.”
Arnold was confused by his mother’s words.
When she passed away, I took in her young son and brought him up like he was my own. I didn’t get married because I wanted to focus all my attention and love on my kid. Hey, it’s time to see what your mom left for you in that vase. Let’s celebrate!” Diana raised her glass as Arnold looked surprised examining the vase.

He couldn’t believe it. There was a bunch of money inside the old vase. He started crying and fell to the ground.
Arnold found out that the lady he felt bad about wasn’t actually his biological mom, but the one who dedicated her entire life to taking care of him. She wasn’t just a mom to him – she was his hero and protector who rescued him when he had no one else.
Diana said she kept her promise to her friend who passed away. She told Arnold she was happy for him and then she walked towards the exit. Arnold didn’t want her to leave, so he ran after her and stood in her way.
Mom, I’m really sorry. Your love means everything to me. I regret hurting you. I know I haven’t been the best son, but you’ve always been an amazing mother to me. Why didn’t you tell me I was an orphan? Please don’t go. I don’t want to feel like an orphan all over again.
Diana hugged Arnold, and they returned to the stage, where the groom danced with his mother.
“I love you, mom!” he whispered, and Diana smiled, tears of joy gushing from her eyes.
