Ben Sowards, a father from Utah, USA, received a call from his 6-year-old daughter and immediately made his way to her school.

Valeria had, as it happened, experienced a minor accident. While there was no danger involved, Ben empathized with the potential embarrassment his daughter might feel after wetting her pants.

Ben had a plan before he went to get his daughter. He decided to try to make her laugh instead because he thought there must be something he could do to make her feel better.

The Huffington Post said that Ben ended up spilling water on his jeans before getting in the car and driving to school.

He had to “hide” something, so when he arrived, he requested Valerie if he could borrow her school bag.

Valerie finally understood what her dad was doing when she spotted the huge wet mark on his pants.

As though nothing had occurred
Valeria felt relieved when she found out her dad was in a similar situation.

Honestly, I could tell she was feeling embarrassed, but I thought that if I could make her laugh, everything would turn out okay, Sowards explained.

She seemed really annoyed. But when she saw my jeans, she gave me that look that said everything was okay. Every dad knows that look. We casually walked out of the school like nothing happened.

Ben didn’t just have to drive his daughter to school, but he did more because he cared about her feelings. He’s such an amazing dad!

There are lots of awesome dads out there, but not many can match Ben’s super cool imagination!
